First Step Visa Credit Card Webinar or Access the On-Demand Course

The First Step Visa program provides young people an opportunity to learn about maintaining good credit and avoiding bad debt. The First Step Visa Credit Card Live Webinar will be held on Wednesday, May 15, from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.

WECU also offers the same learning material through the First Step Visa On-Demand Course, allowing you to fit financial education into your family’s busy schedule.

Students 16-17 years old attend the webinar or on-demand course to qualify for a First Step Visa credit card. Legal guardians or parent(s) are also welcome to participate but are not
required to. Upon completion, students are invited to fill out a First Step Visa application with proof of income or with their parent/legal guardian as co-borrower. If approved, students will be issued a $250 First Step Visa credit card.

Young adults 18 and older are also welcome to participate in the webinar or on-demand course;
however, they would be eligible to apply for other WECU credit cards.
