Grant was born and raised in Whatcom County. He grew up on a dairy farm in Everson and graduated from Lynden Christian High School. He received a finance degree from Western Washington University in 2006 and has been with WECU ever since. Grant loves the fact that WECU has local decision making, processing, and can think outside of the box, leading to better service and quicker turnaround times.
While attending college at Western Washington University, Grant was an All-American basketball player and ended his career as the all-time leading scorer. In college, he received the USBWA most courageous award and the Jimmy V award for overcoming adversity. Outside of work, Grant enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids. Grant volunteers his time as a youth basketball coach and sits on the board for the Peace Health St Joseph Medical Center Foundation and the Lynden Christian Athletic Booster Club.
