BELLINGHAM (June 7, 2022) — WECU is proud to be the Official Community Partner for the Whatcom County Library System (WCLS) and Bellingham Public Library (BPL) Summer Reading Program. WECU’s sponsorship will enable the library systems to award an estimated 2,500 books to participants in the program.

“WECU is committed to serving and enriching the communities we serve,” said Keith Mader, Program Manager, PR & Content at WECU. “Through the support of this great program we hope that more children find their love for reading and are even more ready to head into the next school year.”

The reading program launches on June 1 and participants can pick up reading cards to track their progress at any WCLS or BPL library location.
